Angelico

AngeliCo was founded in 1999 by Martine and Ruben, who had a bit of a burn-out with their previous rockabilly band Sin Alley. Originally, they wanted to start a kind of country-styled band. They were joined by Axl Peleman, who had just retired his band Ashbury Faith and was bassing along with the Paranoiacs. As drummer they added Mario Goossens, from another retired band, Noordkaap. During rehearsals and songwriting, the style of the band shifted from 'country-like' to something that sounds almost entirely, but not quite, unlike Garbage. Read more on Last.fm
