Bangtan Boys (Korean: , RR: Bangtan Sonyeondan, Translation: Bulletproof Boy Scouts) Or BTS (abbreviation for Bangtan Sonyeondan) is a South Korean Hip-Hop Boy group that's made by Big Hit Entertainment. The group consists of 7 members (Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Rap Monster, Jimin, V, Jungkook.). The group debuted on June 12, 2013 with "No more Dream".
Pre-debut
Originally, they were suppose to debut in 2010, however their debut was postponed due to members leaving the group. The only member that was part of the original member line up is Rap Monster. Before the group's debut they split it up into 2 different groups to cover songs which they released. One group consisted of Jin, Rap Monster and Suga. Together, they covered "Drank" by Kendrick Lamar, which they turned it to "School of Tears". The other group consisted of J-Hope, Jungkook and Jimin they did a cover of Wiz Khalifa's "Young, Wild, Free" which had been turned into "Graduation Song." V, was the only member that was not part of any of the cover songs due to him being kept secret until the teaser trailers for "No More Dream".
2013
Their first trailer was released on May 26, featuring the song "No more Dream". V's image teaser then followed, being released on June 2, 2013. Next was an image teaser of members Jeongguk, Jimin, and Jin which released on June 3,2013. This was followed by the last image teaser which featured members J-Hope, Suga, and Rap Monster on June 6, 2013.
June 6, 2013 was also the date that the tracklist for BTS' debut mini album, "2 Cool 4 Skool" was released. The music video for "No More Dream" was released 6 days after that on June 12, 2013 being uploaded on Big Hit Entertainment's official YouTube channel. A day after that, on June 13, 2013 they debuted in M!
