Billy Drummond

Willis Robert "Billy" Drummond, Jr. (b. Newport News, Virginia, June 19, 1959) is an American jazz drummer. Drummond learned jazz from an early age from his father, who was a drummer and a jazz enthusiast. He played in bands from age eight and studied at Shenandoah Conservatory. He moved to New York at the behest of Al Foster in 1986.
