Информация об исполнителе
Hometown: Laredo, TX
Genres: Rock
Members: Daniel Gutierrez, July War, Eric Alvarez, Ricky Luna
Formed in 2005, the band originally began as a trio with Daniel Gutierrez, Eric Alvarez, and Zachary Neel (drums). Later in 2005, the band added guitarist JulyWar. The band, even at their relatively young age (15-17)was recognized for their potential and over the next two years built up a following in the local Laredo area.
In early 2007, the band took a hiatus to pursue individual endeavors.
Near the end 2008, Gutierrez reached out to his fellow Broken Vision band members to come together once again. The band spent the first quarter of 2009 rehearsing and perfecting their sound before finally becoming an active participant in the local Laredo music scene after sitting out for nearly 2+ years.
The band quickly re-established themselves and built up a following in a matter of months. By mid-2009, Broken Vision became the local music support on local gigs for national recording acts.
Although beginning to build up steam, in August of that year, drummer and founding member Zachary Neel departed from the band to pursue an education at the 'University of the Incarnate Word'.
The band quickly added local drummer Ricky Luna to the line-up and did not miss a beat, continuing to open up for national touring acts passing through the South Texas area.
In April 2010, the band headed to the 'Porcupine Studios' in Chandler, Arizona to begin production for their debut album. Initially looking to hold 8 tracks, the band completed production, mixing, and mastering in the span of 3 days. The band would then head back to the 'Porcupine Studios' months later to add more tracks and tweak the previously recorded material. (The album is expected to be released independently on April 23rd, 2011).
The band finished out 2010 on the final run of a national tour headlined by The Sammus Theory.
