New Zealand rock outfit Cell represent Manurewa; one of the roughest suburbs in Auckland. Featuring the musical brilliance of brothers Cliff and Gideon Thompson, Cell have been compared to a beefier version of Birds of Tokyo or Shihad.
The exceptionally strong connection in the band, and particularly between the Thompson brothers was forged within the oppressive forces of their hometown.
Cell's hometown proved to be the perfect place for these young men to make massive, modern and dynamic rock music. Cell will be touring extensively in Australia and New Zealand in 2010 promoting their latest EP "Love and Murder."
