Damian & Brothers

Damian & Brothers is a band started by Damian Draghici in 2001, with a strong gypsy background. Oficially, the band is named Filarmonika Rromanes. Draghici is renowned for his pan flute playing, with a technique called triple-tongue staccato, gaining him the nickname of "Lightspeed". His discography includes seventeen albums, which won him a Grammy award. His style varies from electronic, jazz, rock, gypsy, hip-hop. Damian & Brothers was founded together with a project named "The Roots Project", featuring strong gypsy music influences overlayed to strong and aggressive rhythms.
