We never thought that 11 years after our last vinyl release back in 2006 that we'd be going back to that very format. But here we are going into 2017 with Stripped Recordings taking the plunge with a very limited run of 300.

Taking centre stage for this special release are Lithuania's Donatello who slowly but surely has been building his reputation not only as a producer but also as an excellent dj playing regularly at his home countries premier venues namely Exit (Kaunas)and Atari Original (Vilnius) alongside the likes of Maceo Plex, Sasha, John Digweed, Booka Shade, James Zabiela, Clive Henry and many more. Since his first release proper alongside Kastis Torrau on Stripped Recordings in 2009, Donatello has had his music released on high profile underground labels such as Sasha's Last Night On Earth when he Kastis Torrau & Arnas D won the Burn Studio's "Cut Me Down" Remix contest and their remix was released alongside fellow competition winners. They then went on to collaborate with the man like.. on the track "Smoke Cone" in 2012. Other releases have come through Click Records, Perspectives Digital, Black Hole Recordings, Stripped Digital amongst others.

Now he steps into the new year ready to enhance his already growing reputation further by releasing arguably his best track to date "Catch 23" alongside Shane Blackshaw singer / songwrtiter from Melbourne, Australia who is an talented artist who is destined for big things. This will be Shane's fourth release for Stripped Recordings after previous collaborations with Phonic Scoupe on "Tipi" and his biggest to date "Down So Long" alongside Kastis Torrau & Arnas D in 2015 and new remixes released this month from Dmitry Molosh & Subandrio. Shane has also left his mark on labels such as Toolroom, Steyoyoke, Manual Music, ICONYC and Go Deeva.

This collaboration comes in four versions the Original a deep techy proggy number with Shane's silky vocals complimenting the track perfectly as it does with Kastis Torrau's more progressive sounding peak time remix. Instrumental versions are also available here.
