Formed in 1970 the line-up was somewhat of a who's who of australian rock. Fanny Adams cut one album full of hard edged progressive blues-rock that wasn't released until 1971 a year after the band's acrimonious break-up in December of 1970. The catalyst for the bust up was internal dissent & boasting (doug parkinson once boasted to go-set magazine that "in three weeks Fanny Adams will be the best band that ever trod this earth" but the success that was expected never arrived when a fire at Sydney's Caesars' Palace discotheque destroyed every last piece of the bands equipment.
