Although never becoming a household name, Howard Roberts was a highly respected guitarist in both jazz and popular fields. He is perhaps best known for having played the lead guitar parts on the theme music to a number of successful TV programmes including `The Twilight Zone' and `The Munsters' and rhythm guitar on the theme from `I Dream of Jeannie'.
As a jazz player, Roberts toured and recorded extensively with the likes of Bud Powell, Miles Davis, Sonny Stitt, Wardell Gray and Gerry Mulligan to name a few.
