The dark and mysterious sonic tone that Infrequency conjures is the perfect accompaniment for interstellar travel. This is what the Infrequency concept is built from and is perpetuated through his upcoming album "Elements Of Nature" being released on July 20th on Mindspring Music, focusing on elemental space sounds. Hailing from Albuquerque, NM Infrequency perfected his sounds at his home studio in Albuquerque with over 8 years of music production and 15 years of dj experience. Preferring driving rhythms and haunting atmosphere, this perspective gives Infrequency's sound a uniqueness all its own.
Mindspring Music is clearly on the ball when it comes to finding new sounds from new talent. In fact, there is little else that they've done over the years, and this has put them in a very advantageous position when it comes to us reviewing their wild and diverse selection of post-balearic, post-bass sounds. Infrequency debuts with a full LP, Elements Of Nature, and it's a 13-track voyage through the darkest, most treacherous corners of the jungle. Believe it or not, there is a bit of every electronic genre in here, from the rattling breakbeat of "Dreams" to the trapped-out hypnotism of "Drip", but the whole album is woven together with a glitchy, downtempo aesthetic that is primarily charged by the UK's dubstep tradition. In this way, Elements Of Nature makes for some truly contemporary listening that will undoubtedly tap into this generation's fascination with the future, post-apocalyptic dystopia, and the mysteries of the Universe.
Elements Of Nature was written with the idea of using psychedelic experiences as a platform for the album to unfold, with each song building a bass-soaked set and setting for this joyful trip into our living planet. From deep lush textures, heavy psychedelic atmospheres, haunting voices, psychonautic incantations, mysterious entheogenic pathways, and deep heavy basslines, this will be a new fresh journey through the world of Infrequency and the music written within his mind
