Jupiter Panic
I wanted to experiment with different old music genres that involved massive use of synthesizers, and ended up with this collection of tracks. With no money driven motivation I wrote these tracks as a joyful way to spend my time while appreciating some of the different kinds of electronical music genres that has been around during the 30 years from 1970 to 2000. Even though there are 58 minutes of music on this album I could not make room for all 2000 sub-genres of electronic music, so I just picked a few of my favorite sub-genres. These are all melodic driven genres, so here are no berlin school, ambient, rave, house or goa trance. Instead here are instrumental progressive rock, synthpop, synthwave, dream dance, and different kinds of new age music. Are you into synthesizer music of the 80s then you might like this album.
Sonic influences: Instruments like Roland Jupiter 8, Oberheim OB-X, Moog Minimoog, Roland JP8000, Access Virus, Fender Rhodes, Hammond B3, Kawai Grand Piano, Guitars, Roland TR909 and sampling technology.
