Born in Paris and raised between France and Canada, Kanthor is an artist that has pursued many different routes to formalization whether it be electronic music, experimental cinema, contemporary philosophy or modern poetry. Coming from a visual background, sound quickly became a way to independently challenge all his other works and research on the basis of immanent sublations. In 2017, he co-launched with Angelina Battais an artistically engaged organization - Hisolat - composed of a record label, a publishing company and a clothing brand.
