Информация об исполнителе
The name Mabel refers to three different artists:
1) Mabel McVey, born in Malaga (February 20, 1996) and raised in Stockholm, now spends most of her time in London. Mabel has music in her blood. Her mom is Nineties singer Neneh Cherry, the pioneer of early R'n'B, and her dad is Massive Attack producer Cameron McVey. She grew up around musicians and would often join her parents on the road - unsurprisingly she has known she wanted to make her own music since she was five. Fast forward a decade and Mabel went on to study music production in Sweden but she kept the fact she was writing her own music a secret from her musician parents until she was 16.
Mabel had her mainstream breakthrough in 2017, with "Finders Keepers" becoming her first UK top-10 single. In 2019, she was nominated for British Breakthrough Act at the Brit Awards.
2) Danish pop band from the late '70s. The band consisted of Mike Tramp (White Lion, Freak Of Nature), Peter Nielsen, Otto Kulmbak and Christian Have. They are probably most famous for winning the Danish Song Contest in 1978 with the song Boom Boom and represented Denmark in the Eurovision Song Contest that year. The band broke up in 1983.
3) Paolo Ferrali , alias Mabel is an Italo dance artist, who released the album "Destination" in 2002.
His known singles are "Disco Disco" and "Bum Bum". Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
