Icelandic's producer and DJ Ohm,
has continued to stay true to the spirit of techno.
Thru the 1990s, Ohm learned a deep foundation of the growing worldwide techno surge that by 1999,
he felt he was creative and eager enough to start writing his own music.
Success came quickly with his debut; a collaboration with fellow Icelandic legend Exos on Force Inc records.
This led to over 20 releases since on standout labels like Thule records, Rawax, Kontakt, Solid Groove., Taped Artifact, Ranges, Vade mecum ,
Vuo records and AE Recordings, and AE recordings Ltd, which he co-ran with Octal Industries and Thor from Thule Records.
A chance meeting in a Berlin records store with Andrey Puskarev and Pola led to releasing some music on the acclaimed All In Records and their sublabel Nilla. Shortly after,
a release on Andrey's own label Luck of Access with Octal Industries followed.
Now Copenhagen based, his DJ career is equally impressive having been a regular guest at the hottest spot in his area, Culture Box.
In the past, gigs at Germany's Tresor along with various places all around Europe to clubs back home in Iceland,
Ohm's style of DJing is the culmination of over 30 years in the techno scene. Being a beloved personality in the scene,
Recently, Ohm has started his own imprint, OHM Series.
This label focuses on having releases that feature a mixture of well-beloved veterans and some vibrant new names pushing techno's sonic boundaries.
Highlighting this balance is a prime example where his techno integrity is the cornerstone of its operation.
He's blending tried and true techno sounds with techno's next visionaries which we can all agree that is a worthwhile endeavor for the direction.
Ohm also runs two shows on Timeline music online platform.
