Secheron Peak is the electronic music project of Melbourne-based musician Damien Clarke. Fascinated with the impersonal sounds of many glitch, dark ambient synth and instrumental post-rock acts, he set out to write music that use electronic sounds in non-electronic sounding arrangements, building adventurous sci-fi influenced soundscapes, treating sequencers as though individual musicians. His music consists of highly-structured layers of finely sliced drum samples, echoing guitars, pulsing synths and reverberating lead lines.
Secheron Peak's debut album 'Slow Gravity' was released in December of 2012.
