I was born 14th of March 1971. And grew up in Upplands vasby a suburb outside of Stockholm. i was very interested in sports when I was a kid, but when I heard Elvis for the first time it blow me away, it was the coolest thing I’ve ever heard and seen. It made me change direction. I thought to my self I wanted to do that no matter what! I was 14 when I started to sing and write songs. My influences are quite wide, I admire people like Johnny cash, Credence Clearwater, Queen, Led Zeppelin ;Deep purple, Robert Johnsson, Soundgarden just to name a few. Started to Sing around in different local bands, eventually I hooked up with the guitarist Fredrik Akesson (Talisman) and formed the band One cent and I got the opportunity to record my first single `Fallingґ in 1989. Wich led to the decision of trying to make a career in showbiz.
After recording my first single I got offers from different bands, composers, one of them was Snakes in paradise. Back in 92, we got the offer to backing up singer Mark Free (King kobra) as his rhythm band for a European tour `Gods of Aorґ 93, (I played keys and sang bvґs.) It produced a live album. Shortly after SIP first ep got released, and in the beginning of 94 SIP first album. The band got the chance to go to Rhodes in Greece to play in a rock club seven days a week for 4 month, it was tuff on the vocals, (girls and alcohol) but we had fun though, talk about rock school, we felt like the Beatles in Hamburg.
I got back I decided to go to a music school to develop my keyboard and song writing abilities, meet many talented people such as Henrik Bergqist git, Sebastian Sippola drums, Thomas Pomma Thorberg Bas, Joakim Svalberg Keys, and the band Four Sticks was formed, FS toured a lot, + did 2 gig in Nashville and released the Album Electric celebration. During that time I ran in to Nikolo Kotsev, he phoned me a couple years later and ask me if I wanted to sing with the Whitesnake chaps the Company of snakes the line-up were at the time Bernie Mardsen-git, Micky Moody-git, Neil Murray-bas, Don Airey-keys and John Lingwood-drums. Said yes! Went to Hamburg for the audition, got the job.
Led me to one of my greatest moments in my music carer. I meet Tony Ashton who wrote, resurrection shuffle to (Elvis , the Benny hill show), at my first show with COS. it was the hell blues festival 2000 in Trondhiem Norway. I was singing Whitesnake songs on Friday with Bernie and the chaps, and he was the special guest star playing organ and singing with them the day after, as the Ambassadors of hell. He really blow me away that night, one of the best piano/organ- players and performer ive ever seen live. Sadly he passed away shortly after.
Couple of month later Bernie phoned me up and wanted me to sing at Ashton s memorial concert at Buxton opera house 2001-04- 11.in the original line up of Whitesnake with Jon Lord-organ Ian Paice-drums Bernie Mardsen-git, Micky Moody-git, Neil Murray-bas (try to beat that line up?) I said lets do it! Must say I was a bit nervous when I did the show and a leg started shaking buy it self , otherwise the show was magic such an incredible atmosphere (believe me those guys can play).
Recently I formed Grand jam Production it concerns putting together both Studio/and live concepts with fantastic musicians, dancers and clowns. Ladies and gentleman the rock n roll circus has just begun.
