Super8

There are two artists or projects named Super8, one from Finland and one from France:

1) Super8 from Finland: Alias of the Finnish DJ and producer Miika Eloranta who is also one half of the project Aalto.

Miika has produced a string of successful remixes, including Rollerball "Albinoni", Space Brothers "One More Chance" and the monstrously enormous remix of Aalto's "Rush".

His first solo release "Alba/Dawn" blew everyone away in 2004, with two quality slices of trance mayhem cemented his fanbase right across the world and earned huge support from the likes of Above & Beyond, Armin van Buuren, and Paul van Dyk (who was rumoured to have created a special padlocked secret compartment for it inside his record bag, complete with barbed wire and a round-the-clock armed guard.)

The follow-up was written sitting at a Grand Piano in a music shop in Helsinki in a stolen, magic fifteen minutes and titled, suitably, "Cre8".

2) Super8 from France: French rock/pop band created in 2005.
