Ted Roberson
Collaborated with legendary Moody Scott on his new CD "The Many Moods of Moody."
Instruments: Bass, lead and rhythm guitar.
Lead and background vocals. In my Pro-tools base rec.studio. I create write and arrange backing tracks for other artists. I began playing in the middle fifties with local gospel groups. In early 1964 I joined the band Les Cooper and the house rockers at that time he had a hit record called Wiggle Wobble. I toured with the band until I was drafted in the army in 1966 after I served two years (one year in Vietnam.) I returned home. In mid-1968. I toured Europe and the Middle East with the band DITTO AND THE LOVERS.
In 1971 I toured Europe again with the USO show. In 1972 I formed a band called The N.Y. Stock Exchange. Thru a booking agent in Montréal Canada named Pierre Royal, we worked thru Canada from St.Catherine's to Nova Scotia. In 1976 I joined The Bill Doggett Combo. (Famous for the song, Honky Tonk.) We toured from the east coast to the west coast. Lots of freelance gigs with the likes of, Don Covey, Ben E. King, Noble Watts, Etta James, Wilbert Harrison, Donny Albert, Eddy Holman and others
