Yellow Note is a project created by David Barratt. The first incarnations of Yellow Note were all on the drum'n'bass side of things, quite a departure from David Barratt's creation of commercials for Kraft, McDonalds, Hallmark, and his production of Barry Manilow and Celine Dion (not to mention his own jazz album). Fitting well on Jungle Sky, Yellow Note released a couple CDs and some vinyl, then disappeared for a few years.
In this new century, Barratt turned to electro, taking Yellow Note down a different line. After producing Ministry of Sound's compilation "Tech-Pop" in 2002 (featuring the Yellow Note reworking of an old Pukka track), Yellow Note came out with a new album, somewhat in the "tech-pop" style.
