Neighborhood’s music breathes 70′s and is an energetic jazz with influences of funk and soul. It is based on dancing and pulsating swing that makes it difficult to sit still. With the hopeful melancholy ballads leave the repertoire is also room for thought and reflection.
Then they released their debut album in 2010, there have been critically acclaimed performances throughout the country and in 2011 they gave out on a week’s tour in Nepal to emerge on the international festival Jazzmandu – Music for Peace and Compassion. Their gigs became so popular that the band was honored to round off the festival with an hour concert and keep the concluding festival Jammet.
Since the beginning of 2011 has been working on the sequel to his debut album Maybe Tomorrow and after a year of hard work in the studio is now ready to face the light of day. The album title is The Enchanter and in an hour enchanted listener in a profound journey of Neighborhood’s sound world of vibrant rhythm, groove and energy.
