Oh, and what a record this is!
Air don't exactly take big steps from 2004's Talkie Walkie (sort of picks up right where that one left off), but that is fine, as the album is just full of the
Air goodness us fans know and love (with little pushes in new directions, just not big ones), and hopefully this album will make even more initiates out of people that haven't heard them yet.
This album excels at creating a MOOD, that is the real stress here, quite intoxicating.
We are still treated to the vocoded sighs of the French boys - thank goodness - as well as a song each for guests
Jarvis Cocker and
Neil Hannon.
Only on the 2nd listen and I can tell as I did the first listen that this one is snd will continue to be just a CORKER!
