Following a couple of well-received EPs, TWO LANES unful their debut album - a decidedly fluid, dreamy and immersive blend of tactile, soft-touch low-speed house beats, fluid (and often poignant) piano solos, thickset ambient textures and tons of sun-soaked Balearic intent. Their trademark sound has always been more sofa-friendly than club ready (though plenty of their tracks will work on dancefloors), and it certainly makes perfect sense stretched across an expansive album. Highlights include the yearning, hypnotising melancholia of 'Ascend', the slo-mo deep-tech hug of 'Searching', the quietly uplifting shuffle of 'Left Behind' (with Panama), and the heart-aching piano ambient of 'Distance'.
