Annerose Schmidt

Annerose Schmidt (born 5 October 1936) is the professional name used by Annerose Boeck,[1] a German pianist. She received official recognition as a concert pianist from what later became the East German state in 1948, which was the year of her twelfth birthday.[2] Life[edit] Annerose Boeck was born in Wittenberg, a town a short distance to the north of Leipzig which then as now was venerated for its association with Martin Luther.
