Charizma are a Swedish rock band formed in Oskarshamn, Sweden in 1981. Founded by the three brothers Bo Nikolausson, Jan Nikolausson and G¦ran Nikolausson, the present band also includes Johan Mauritzson and Thomas Karlsson. Starting out as a hard rock trio, Charizma is now a radio-friendly rock band focusing on melodies and strong vocal elements.
The band is primarily known for their songs "Waiting (Here for you)" and "Run to God". The band also performed in the pre-selections for Eurovision Song Contest in Estonia (Eurolaul) 2004 and in Poland 2007 (Piosenka dla Europy 2007) with the song "Emily".
Charizma has toured all over the world including: USA, UK, Germany, Australia, Switzerland, Austria, Liechtenstein, Estonia, Poland, Sweden, Finland, Norway, Denmark, The Netherlands and Faroe Islands.
Their latest album "Life in 3D" (2003) which contained the song "Waiting (Here for you)" went into the top 3 of the Swedish sales charts and received airplay on stations in the US. Another hit in the US Christian market is "Run to God".
