Curro Piñana. Cartagena, 1974. Born in a family of serious flamenco tradition. Between other awards, holds the Mining Lamp Festival Mines and Union Cup Pavon Theatre of the Fine Arts in Madrid. As passionate flamenco, this album is the result of creativity and research. It styles recover lost and arrows to which Piñana Curro gives them his trademark.

Cartagena, 1974, stage name of Francisco Javier Piñana Conesa, is the grandson of the legendary Antonio Piñana (father), and conservative patriarch Cantes Miners and son of guitarist Antonio Piñana (son).

Your learning begins with the direct teachings of his grandfather on the varied and complex styles miners, some serious songs, without compass that require high qualification and authority for interpretation and Curro which soon becomes a perfect knowledge. His career began to intervene in TVE programs as "Good music of the Flemish" which participates in '86 with Lebrijano, Paco Toronjo and J. Antonio Rodriguez, the "In Memoriam" issued in '89 on the occasion of the death of his grandfather, his participation in the program "More than flamenco" with his brother Carlos and Cuban Lazaro Betancourt Raudel Issaqui and interpreting bulería petenera and taranta or the "imaginary" in the South Channel 2 TV in '99 .

Their work is not limited exclusively Flemish to the artistic, Curro is a great student of flamenco, which has led him to teach in the years '94 and '95, flamenco two courses at the Conservatory of Music in Cartagena, and to participate, also as a singer and teacher in the "Academic Course Approach to Arte Flamenco" held in La Union in August of '95. Given their family learning , Curro has chosen to retain, interpret and transmit classical forms he inherited. But it also shows creative and gifted with an originality that distinguishes him among his generation. Among his discography include: The CD entitled "On the Human and the Divine"(RTVE Música, Madrid, 1998), where flamenco suits Sufi mystic poems of Ibn Arabi (Murcia, 1165-Damaso 1240), "Bolts" (MRG, 2002) and "Curro Piñana-Miguel Hernández" (Lorca Productions, 2002).

Also melismatic voice, clear and lyrical can hear on the compilaion "With Duende" (RTVE Música, Madrid, 1999, Fernanda de Utrera, etc.. on the CD "2000 Flamingos" (Divucsa 2001) with Mayte Martin, Jose Merce and Fosforito among others. He participated in the three CD's published by his brother Carlos Piñana, "The care of one essence" (1996), "Cal-líbiri" (Big Bang, Granada, 1999) and "Rosewood" (Big Bang, Granada 2001). In May 1999, is included on the CD "Strictly Worldwide" published by the European Forum of Worldwide Music Festivals presenting at the Festival of South Pyrenees in Huesca.

His songs have also been included in the soundtracks of the films: "The Promised Hell" by director Juan Manuel Murcia Chumilla and "Bocamina" director Javier Codesal. Currently Director Classroom Flamenca at the Universidad San Pablo CEU Madrid. It is, in short, a complete artist, a singer long sticks that dominates all but especially those in their own right from their land.
