A bridge between electronic and orchestral music, a visceral emotionality, and an invitation to contemplation and inner journey: this is what defines Douran’s musical project.
Weaving a subtle dialogue between electronic textures and acoustic instruments, he creates an experience that is cinematic, intense, and delicate. Pianos, strings, and synthesizers echo and intertwine to shape a sonic universe that feels both sensitive and singular.
Passionate about sound design as much as melodic and rhythmic writing, this self-taught composer is involved in every step of the creative process, crafting a unique sonic universe in search of the most honest emotion.
After four EPs with over 10 million streams, a signing with Cercle Records, collaborations with Louis Vuitton, Renault, Ford, HBO, Netflix, and the original score for the documentary Hvaldimir: The True Story of the Spy Beluga (Canal+), Douran unveiled in January 2025 his most ambitious project to date:
«As The Dust», a double EP of 14 tracks including 7 original compositions recorded at Ferber Studio with a Bulgarian choir, a string quartet, and analog synthesizers, alongside 7 remixes by artists he deeply admires.
