Stuttgart, Swabia, Germany, 2014 Cars from here are still expensive, not everybody does like Spätzle (a famous kind of noodle) and the "Kehrwoche" is still a filthy job to do. However, the music is as ubiquitously as never before. Almost nothing has changed... - Or has it? A Queen earworm is having a fast and dirty quicky with an imperial Sacred Reich sledgehammer which seems to be a wolf in a Scorpions’ clothing. The self-titled HELLDORADOS debut of 2012 is a forerunner of an actually antique genre thanks to its hooks, heaviness and glamour. So it wasn’t only the international production from the Horus Sound Studios and the kick-ass cover artwork created by the famous artist Timo Würz that led to great reviews worldwide, above all it was because of the songs. And exactly these songs are the reason why HELLDORADOS played showcases on festivals like the Wacken Open Air or the Bang Your Head!!! Festival as well as support gigs for international bands like The Darkness, Y&T or Bullet and an European tour with Rhino Bucket - the band always had the audience wrapped around its little finger. By the way: "Kehrwoche, my ass" was the motto of the quartet. Instead of paying homage to Swabian traditions, the band hit the road and released three singles with outstanding music videos. So much for that! Where do we go from here? The dust is shaken off, the eyes are wide open, the teeth are bared. Album #2 carries the distinctive title "LESSONS IN DECAY" and summarizes all musical qualities of HELLDORADOS in a best Parental Advisory way. It’s dirtier, more melodic and also heavier. Engineer Sven "Samson" Geiger (FOH Scorpions, Saxon, Motörhead) and songwriter James Herter (Two Of Us, Blue Night Shadow, Sternenhimmel) joined forces with the band and did a great job.
