Allan is a DJ and Producer born in Lochgilphead, Scotland. In the late 80's Allan started to DJ and Produce Jazz influenced Hiphop but soon found his love for Electronic Music heavily influenced by Gary Newman. He started with the Old English Breakbeat Style then moving on to The late 80's Early 90's Acid Sound finally finding his feet Producing Trance influenced by the Dorian Gray Sound from Dag, Torsten Fenslau, Talla 2Xlc etc.. Allan started Djing in Clubs in North Germany making a name for himself until he met Tandu (Ayla, Ingo Kunzi). He decided to move to the Stuttgart area where he started doing Studio work for Unsubmissive Records with a few good releases and a few pretty bad releases!! His first Major Deal was with Edel Club Tools under his old Dj name Dj Micky. Tandu was a great support for helping him get on his feet by getting him Gigs in Jailhouse Achern and introducing him to Olaf Lubberger (Reaktor). From then on his Career took off like a rocket. He then changed his name to "Allan McLoud" just a few weeks after the Legendary Club "Reaktor" in Buehl opened its doors. Allan became part of the Reaktor furniture along with Tandu Djing nearly every weekend. The Reaktor opened so many doors for him. Djing alongside great names like: Uli Brenner, Taucher, Talla 2Xlc, Dag, Frank Lorber, Richie Hawtin, Tom Wax, Tom Novy etc etc.. 1998 came Allan's biggest Breakthrough with his first release on Talla 2Xlc's Future Records and being invited by Talla to DJ in the Legendary Dorian Gray in Frankfurt. He then became resident at Talla's Technoclub (Dorian Gray) Djing every last friday of the month until it sadly closed its doors in December 2000. During this time Allan was fully booked Djing all over Germany and Europe and his Homebase Reaktor. Allan was also busy and very successful with his "Highlander" project on Blutonium Records where his tracks were licensed for "Dream Dance" Gary D's Tunnel Trance Force etc etc. He also teamed up with Tandu and started doing "Tandu & McLoud" remixes for such names like "Sash" "U-Phonics" "Maltaya 44" "Encore" "Peter Fly" "S-Projekt" etc.. Allan and Tandu also done a few projects together such as "Voyager" (Friendship Rec. CH) "Chemical 25" (Underdog) "Karuma" (Harem Rec. CH) Allan has also done Remixes under his own name for "Ondo Del Futuro" Session One" "Tony H" "Robotnico" "Ayla" "Intrance"etc etc.... After Allan's "Silent Running" cover track with the Awesome vocals from Fraser was released on Talla's Technoclub label, Allan decided to slow down and take a back seat and went to USA to do some work with Tony Tran and Slim. After a few amazing gigs in the States Allan decided in 2002 its time for a break and move back to Scotland for a normal Life... Its 2010 and Allan has decided to start producing again as a hobby and appearing now at again at the Legendary Reakt or Revival Party's in Germany. Allan's old Project "Highlander" is alive again with a new release on Mario De Bellis's Desperadoz Rec called "Melon Twist" which includes an awesome "Tandu Remix" Highlanders sound is a bit Progressive House with Trance Influences.
