Ilie Udilă (b. 1930, Bucharest - died in 2002, Bucharest) was a famous Romanian musician and virtuoso accordionist. Along with other great accordionists Marcel Budala Nicholas Crăciunescu Ion Onoriu or broken Lambru Elijah Udilă was one of the most famous of Romania's accordion.
Born December 25, 1930 in Bucharest, Elijah Udilă inherited from his father Stere harmonist Udilă a very special musical talent. After this first generation of "proto-accordion" Romanian followed top 50's generation, represented by Marcel Budala.
The desire to sing son makes his father as in 1938 to buy a piano Elijah begin to sing . Later time keeping up with the circumstances and necessities of life and affirmation from the public , it passed in 1940 accordion , reaching to master well and get through an intense study of particular technical mastery of music.
In 1947 starts the restaurant "La Two cocks " Rahova , the band 's Pandeles Dumitrescu . Sing then in 1949 the restaurant " Hut " . Endowed with great artistic sensitivity , Elijah Udilă started his career from his early youth orchestra in 1951 entering CFR Giuleşti Artistic Ensemble , under the direction of Emanuel Elenescu and later by Savel Horceag .
He also collaborated with ensembles " Skylark " and then "Doina" Army , enjoying the guidance of master conductors as : Carol Litvin, Traian Tarcol Victor Predescu Dobos Viorel Dinu Steian and Sergiu Eremia.
