For five decades , Notis Mavroudis ( 07/15/1945 ) alongside his teaching career, having a strong presence in all the guitar events in our country. He studied guitar at the National Conservatory with Professor Dimitri Faba and 1969 in Spain with Jose Tomas.
As a soloist and guitar teacher and composer art songs , he has given many concerts and recitals, both in Greece and abroad . In 1965 he was awarded the " First Prize at the Thessaloniki Song Festival in 1969 with ' First Prize in the International Guitar Competition in Milan in 1990 was awarded his own song in international children's song contest in Lisbon.
That same year the Embassy of Brazil in Greece awarded him the prize «Heitor Villa-Lobbos» for his contribution to the dissemination of the work of Brazilian composer in Greece .
Uninterrupted presence of all these years with compositions for theater and cinema, literature in newspapers and magazines, partnerships with radio stations, and teaching started in 1969 by the Municipal Music Academy of Milan (Scuola Civica di Musica) and continued without interruption since 1975 in Greece (mainly in Athens) .
Undertaken at times responsible positions in state institutions and organizations and has served as artistic director at various festivals.
From 1983 to 1987 issues and manages the only magazine guitar, Tar, and held concerts in major global popular guitarists.
The rich discography (25 personal records ) includes works for classical guitar compositions (songs) with popular singers.
Since 2000, the record number in the form of guitar duo «Café de l 'art», rearranging and recording various musical genres and eras , reaching six discs.
In 2005 and 2006 , awarded the prize " Aryans " in tribute of this series with film music and covers of songs Tsitsani - Vamvakari.
From 2002 to 2006 he founded and was artistic director of discographies Label "Corifeo" Company "Eros music" distinguished for their excellent alternative versions in multifarious musical paths .
Separate recording interest is the artistic supervision and coordination made himself 29 Greek guitarists recording the history of half a century guitar discography titled : "Master class".
2007 is responsible for the music to play in the Metro Attica. In February 2008 published his first book with texts on music and culture , entitled " Ichologimata " (ed. Nephele) .
From October 2006 recommissioned under his direction , the magazine TaR an online form on the website http://www.tar.gr, and the radio TaR located at : http://www.ar- radio.com
