Omar And The Howlers are a Texas based electric blues and blues rock band. The original Howlers were formed in Hattiesburg, Mississippi in 1973. By 1976, they decided to move and relocate to Austin, Texas, where such clubs as the Soap Creek Saloon, the Broken Spoke, the Armadillo World Headquarters and Antone’s had created a haven for renegade music.
