Co-leader of 80's jangle-pop band The dB's with Chris Stamey. Continued the db's after Stamey's departure. Reunited with Stamey for one album (MAVERICKS) in 1991. Auxillary member of OUT OF TIME-era R.E.M. In the mid to late 90's, joined with Susan Cowsill (Cowsills), Vicki Peterson (Bangles) and others to form Continental Drifters. Released one solo album (OUT OF MY WAY) in 1997.
