There are several artists using this name:

1. Psytrance from Switzerland.
2. Experimental metal from France

It may also be from misstaged video game soundtracks as Psygnosis was a British video game publisher best known for the Lemmings series.

1. Psytrance Liveact from Switzerland! Started producing melodic fullon and progressive grooves in 2005.

2. Experimental metal from France (Bourg-en-Bresse, Rh¤ne-Alpes).They released one EP called Phrases (2009). More information on these can be found at http://www.myspace.com/psygnosismusic.
