Seagrave is founded by Petri Isom”ki (orig. bass & voc), Vesa Kolu (dr) and Karri Tiljander (gt) in 2004.
The original idea was to play Bruce Dickinson cover material. Timo Vesterinen (bass) and Ari-Matti Rintala (gt) joined the group during 2004 and 2005. Soon after this the band began to make more own material so less cover songs were needed. The first gig was in April 2006 with 5 cover and 5 own songs. In the fall of 2006 the band released its first 4-song cd. Petri planned to concentrate on the guitar and the band was looking for a perfect vocalist.
