Tara Kemp

Tara Leslye Kemp (born May 11, 1970 in Livermore, California) is an American pop and R&B singer. She is best known for releasing the single entitled, "Hold You Tight" in 1991. This single, written by singer-songwriter Will Hammond Jr., went gold and reached the number 3 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart[. It was followed with yet another Top 10 single entilted, "Piece of My Heart," which reached number 7.
