Vicente Amigo (Guadalcanal, Seville, 1967). Guitarist
Born in Guadalcanal (Seville, Spain), Vicente Amigo grew up in Córdoba, Spain, where he still resides. It was there, when he was only 8, where he received his first Spanish guitar as a gift. Also in Córdoba he took his first steps as a musician supported by local guitarists El Tomate and El Merengue. However, his name started to gain recognition with Manolo Sanlucar’s influence, with whom he studied and worked for several years.

In 1988 he decided to start his solo career. He entered the Festival Nacional del Cante de las Minas in La Unión, a flamenco contest where he won first prize in the guitar category. Later on he won the Concurso Internacional de Extremadura, an international music contest. He was established as a first-class artist in May 1989, when he unanimously won the Premio Ramón Montoya, an award given in the Concert Guitar category at the 12th edition of the Concurso Nacional de Arte Flamenco de Córdoba. From that moment, his career was powered by an unstoppable evolution and recognition both in Spain and internationally, not only in the flamenco genre but also in other musical areas.

In October 1995, the guitarist released his second album "Vivencias Imaginadas", a record that widely surpassed the expectation developed by critics and audiences alike.
