This CD is a good combination of classical and electronic music in the style of Vangelis. This combination really works well on this album, which should also appeal to lovers of Ennio Morricone soundtracks. The music contains Hollywood film score-like pure symphonic adventure music, elemental effects with orchestra and synthesizers, monumental choir and orchestra combinations spiced with ethnic instruments, solo female voices, and a poem by Elizabeth Barrett Browning. Although each track has its own story, Mountain Flying is united by a recurring main theme. Julius Dobos recorded it with the North Hungarian Symphony Orchestra and the Monteverdi Choir, orchestrated by Peter Pejtsik (from the Hungarian progressive rock band After Crying and also from the folk band Irish Rovers of Budapest) and led by Patrick McMullan (an ex-member of Dr. Feelgood). There is one poem recorded in this CD by folksinger and Grammy Award-winner Martha Sebestyén, who also sang the title track from the film The English Patient.
