Tapestry is one of the bestselling albums of all time, with sales exceeding over 25 million copies worldwide. It spent fifteen consecutive weeks at #1 and features the massive hit singles “I Feel The Earth Move,” “It’s Too Late,” “You’ve Got A Friend” and “So Far Away.” The album is #36 on Rolling Stone’s “500 Greatest Albums of All Time” and is one of the fifty recordings chosen by the National Recording Registry.
VH1 named the album one of the greatest albums ever. Tapestry won four GRAMMY® Awards: Album of the Year, Record of the Year, Best Female Pop Vocal Performance and Song of the Year. It was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 1998.
