Collector's Edition that's dressed for burial. Wrapped in an alternate cover slipcase,
this release features a chillingly appropriate inclusion: a faux Appointment with
Death doctor's card that makes your final summons official. Inside the jewel case
lies a 16-page booklet of lyrics and macabre imagery, alongside an exclusive Lizzy
Borden #44 collector card, numbered for the faithful few.
This edition also unearths the rare Japan-only bonus track, "Tomorrow Never Comes"
(Acoustic), a haunting echo from the afterlife that adds emotional weight to the
original tracklist.
But this death march doesn't walk alone - guest guitarists like George Lynch (Dokken,
Lynch Mob), Dave Meniketti (Y&T), Corey Beaulieu (Trivium), Erik Rutan (Morbid Angel,
Hate Eternal), and Jonas Hanssen (Silver Mountain) lend their ferocious talents to
the album, ensuring the execution is as sharp as the guillotine.
Limited to only 500 copies and remastered by Rob Cowell, this version of Appointment

Ripper's Notes:
This last October, caught Lizzy's halloween show here in Vegas. Bloody good time,
and the years have not taken even the slightest bit off the show. But, he ended the
show with a completely unnecessary cover of Pet Sematary (a track he recorded for
the digital only Best Of Volume 2), instead of ending with Give 'em The Axe! I tell
ya, the band being my absolute favorite of the early Metal Blade era, this was truly
a demolition blow.
That has nothing to do, of course, with this fun, but pretty unnecessary re-issue.
Super solid album, though.
